Today is day 2 of me getting back on this infernal horse in my perpetual journey toward health and banishing that dreaded back fat to Hell's liposuction clinic. Here's to hoping it makes good soap (if you don't get that, you need some Tyler Durden in your life.)
Boy, am I tired. Two weeks I went without daily exercise. Just two weeks - and I feel as though I've never lifted, lunged or crunched in my life. De hell?! Clearly, my muscles have the memory of a goldfish because no matter how many times I've done these workouts it ALWAYS feels like the first time.
More after the jump
My aim is to workout twice a day, 6 days a week. Turbo Fire in the A.M, P90X Lean in the P.M.
Thus, Day 1 goes as follows.

A.M. Workout: Fire 30
P.M. Workout: Core Synergistics
Target Cal Intake - 1800 - 2000 (increased due to the amount of workouts)
Target Calorie Burn - 3000

Clearly, I'm not getting enough sleep and I didn't reach my target calories for the day but, I'd say job well done anyway. Almost a 1000 calorie deficit - that works for me.
I was going to take a picture and jot down measurements, but then I put the inch tape around my tummy and realized it got one inch LARGER than it had even been - even when I was 10 lbs heavier. That plan quickly went the same way the inch tape did - in the trash.
I am consistently amazed at the cards my genetics have tossed me. Between my dense body fat, my metabolism's ability to quickly fall in an out of love with burning consistent amounts of calories - if any, my parasitical back fat and my bread fetish, it's always a battle to move forward. Learning my body has become a very, very expensive undertaking. Add to that the lack of proper nutritional information on typical Trinidadian meals as well as rising food costs (Flooding = even higher prices) and you, my friend, have a recipe for disaster. Heh. Well you can't say I don't like a challenge.
